Oil Barrel Cold Smoker

This cold smoker is made from a converted oil barrel. The barrel has a smoke box at the bottom which is cut into the side of the barrel. The produce to be smoked is layed on racks which are supported by hooks on the rim of the barrel. When using this coldsmoker the top should be covered with a damp sack cloth or other heavy material. A piece of carpet could be used as long as it allows some of the smoke to pass through.
